State-of-the-art fire station

– The City of Laval, in Québec, had planned to build a new fire station to serve its growing population. True to their commitment to sustainable development, the city has decided that a rainwater reuse system was required to reduce the water footprint of the station on potable water supply. The building is targeting LEED Gold certification.

Solution provided:

Fully automated ECOVISION®-RW system recycling rainwater, to supply toilets and urinals flushing. This system is equipped with an advanced control panel that allows for remote monitoring and connection to the building’s central control system. It features a buried self-cleaning filter, a 6 000 liters buried concrete tank, and an above ground module for water treatments, pumping and automation.
